Happy Fall,

Hardshell P. Edulis pine cones boxes shipping now. They cost a little more because we are harvesting hardshell and they are twice as hard to pick as softshell. I WLL ONLY HAVE CONE BOXES FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS. Harvested near New Mexico boarder.

Pine cones are dripping sticky sap, which can be used as in herbal medicine. There are also a few special recipes using pinon sap as flavoring. I will try to include one in the newsletter. They are wonderful for your car, your drawers, to roast in the oven, for your pet birds, as a teaching tool for children (who go crazy over picking hot roasted nuts out of the cones). They are great for craft project. These are just a delight for me to offer. And, you can always plant the seeds straight from the cone.

We also have hybrids for the second time in 23 years. A very special pine nut, very rare.

I drove over 7,000 miles looking for a harvest. Lots and lots of empty trees before we found our pick. We are hard at work and I have no cell service, please email me any questions.
