I want to start a pine nut farm, where can I buy seedlings?
We got nursery license from the State of Missouri, yesterday. We have several thousand pinon pine seedlings for sale. We had a problem with inventory that had yet to be shelled and as a result, we now can sell seedlings of pinon pine seedlings. I had been giving them away upon request with purchase and I see no reason not to continue with that practice. However not everyone wants to buy pine nuts to get seedlings. So, over the next few days pine nut seedlings will be available on our websites, including www.wildcrops.com</a> .
On line purchase pricing will be:
10 pine nut trees for $14.95
100 pinon pine nut trees $99.95
nursery reseller wholesale pine nut trees pricing- 1000 pinon pine nut trees seedlings $350.00
If one is doing restoration, needing t buy 50,000 wholesale pine nut trees, I bet we can do a fine deal. I don't know if we can ship to Australia but, I can see where they would do well there. As far as exports go, shoot me an email. The Department of Agriculture in Missouri has an excellent person in exports and she will help us get it figured out. I do include duff from the forest to help insure the right microbes are in place. In 1902/1903 there was a pinon forestation was taking place in Nebraska at Dismal Reserve. I see what I can do to follow up on that project. Of the 575,000 yellow pine and pinon pine raised on 1 acre, 300,000 survived the harsh winter. 94 % of the pinon seedlings had made it through their first winter. I will see if I can find out what happened after 1903 in Dismall Reserve Nebraska. I would love to see some of those bargain basement lands sold in Nevada on ebay turned back into forests! I would MORE than happy to add free shipping to any Nevada order.
