While we wait for the manufacturer to finish our pine nut sheller, George designs waterproof emergency geodesic housing
by pinenut
The manufacturer which has our pine nut sheller has been swamped and not gotten second proto type back to us. However, George added a feature on the first protype that increased the shelling / cleaning ratio to 70% on the first run. I need to get some video on the blog. It is a wonderful machine for every type of pine nut and some other wild nut species, as well. We have been looking for a basil grower to partner with an or another pesto manufacturer to take the sheller and run with it in their processing. We hope to have our second model ready at the end of the week.
Meanwhile, George completed an emergency, temporary geodesic shelter made from water proof material, which is very light weight, completely recyclable and has excellent insulatory values. Way to go George. This is the first punch and because we have been so very busy, it has taken more than a month to put the pieces together .
